Hi Michelle, I read this post a week or so ago and bought the book you recommend as my 1 year old son is also allergic to egg and I'm sure he has a problem with dairy too (I think it brings on his eczema). We are just about to embark on a trial dairy and egg free period and wanted some help in planning menus.
The book is absolutely excellent, shows you how to make the every day recipes while cleverly and successfully substituting the allergens with other egg free, wheat/gluten free, dairy free, nut free alternatives in the right amounts so that the recipes taste just as gorgeous. A real step up from completely avoiding the foods that kids are allergic to.
I thought this was great, now my LO can still enjoy his macaroni cheese, cakes, biscuits and pasta dishes - absolutely magic

Don't like to think of my LO missing out and having to suffer so I would also recommend this book to others coming across this post.
