Annabel Karmel wins a prestigious Caterer and Hotelkeeper Excellence in Food & Drink Award

Annabel Karmel Food Services, on 27th November 2009, picked up a prestigious Caterer and Hotelkeeper Excellence in Food & Drink award for Kids’ Main Meal category, for the AK Spaghetti Bolognaise with Hidden Vegetable Sauce.
The awards recognise the outstanding products in 15 categories and are open to well established products as well as new products. The unique award was the only one voted for by children.
Karmel was up against numerous industry professionals, but managed to beat off the competition.
“We need to help the industry improve the quality of food for children and have worked hard to produce meals that keep to strict nutritional guidelines, but also have strong child appeal. All our meals are tested on children.”
The nutritious meals provided by Creative Foods are encouraging food service providers to take healthy eating seriously include best sellers such as; Macaroni Cheese with Broccoli & Peas, Fruity Chicken Curry, and Thai Chicken Curry.
They are sold at key major attractions in the UK such as Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventure, Legoland, Haven Holidays, Butlins, Tootsies, Selfridges, Orchid Pubs, Debenhams and Asquith Nurseries.
