This is a particularly useful position for feeding after a Caesarean as it avoids pressure on the scar.
Lay your baby on a pillow by your side, tuck your baby under your arm with her legs sticking out behind you and make sure that your back and arms are well supported with pillows. Support your baby’s body with your arm and cradle her head with your hand so her nose is opposite your nipple.

Using your other hand support your breast and tease your nipple on the baby’s lips and wait for her mouth to open wide, then quickly bring your baby to the breast.

This is also a good way to breastfeed twins.
