Take cooled bottles of milk with you in a cooler bag or you can buy handy 225g (8 oz) sachets of powdered formula. You can then simply empty one into a bottle containing 250ml (8 fl oz) cooled, boiled water which you can prepare in advance and take with you.

Alternatively you can use ready-made formula from a carton.

You can heat your baby’s milk using a special bottle warmer or a jug of hot water but many babies are happy to take their milk at room temperature. It would be helpful to try to encourage your baby by slowly introducing cooler and cooler bottles.
