Baby Understanding • Your baby uses a wider range of cries and you can distinguish between the cries of hunger, boredom, tiredness etc. • Sounds become louder and your baby is able to make some vowel sounds like ‘aah’, ‘ooh’ and ‘eeh’ and may also include consonant sounds like ‘m’, ‘b’ ‘g’ and ’p’. • Improved listening skills and looks to see where the source of the sound comes from. • A baby in a bilingual home can learn to speak two languages. It is best if each parent speaks to her in a different language.
