  • Can stretch out her hand to a nearby object but generally misjudges the distance.

• Baby sight is much better as she or he can see objects further away

• Your baby can follow you with her eyes as you move around the room.

• Can grasp a toy like a rattle and shake it but she can’t yet pick it up by herself.

• Stares at nearby objects and tries to explore them by putting them in her mouth.

• May start to swipe at things but in an uncoordinated way, your baby won’t really be able to accurately reach for things until about 6 to 7 months.
