• Loves to suck and may be able to suck on her thumb or fingers.

• Cuddles, skin-to-skin contact.

• Babies like movement e.g. being held over your shoulder as you rock from side to side, being carried in your arms or in a sling or taken for a walk in a pram.

• Hearing parents voices.

• Enjoys the feeling of having something soft placed in her hand.

• Eye to eye contact and likes to stare at your face.

• Likes gazing at colourful mobiles likes bright primary colours.

• Likes sounds with a deep regular beat that remind her of your heartbeat.

• Sitting up in a bouncy chair.
