Baby Food Desserts - Iced Banana & Pear


It’s easy to make your own baby food desserts from fresh fruit and sucking on lollies will help soothe sore gums when your baby is teething.

This baby food dessert of Iced Banana and Pear taste delicious - kind of creamy ice cream. This also makes a delicious dessert served in a bowl unfrozen

Use ripe bananas for the best flavour. Ripe bananas will have some brown spots on the skin.

This baby food dessert has a softer texture than the other fruit lollies so make sure you loosen the lolly first by running the mould under a hot tap or the stick may come out by itself.

 

Ingredients

1/4 pint custard
2 bananas (220g)
2 tbsp Annabel Karmel’s Pear Concentrate
1 tbsp icing sugar

 

Method:

Either use ready-made custard or make up custard using half a tablespoon of custard powder, half a tablespoon caster sugar and 150 ml milk.

Peel and mash the bananas and liquidise with the custard. Stir in the pear concentrate and icing sugar.
