Baby Talking

• Your baby talking and is able to say a few words clearly like ‘Dad’ or ‘Bye Bye’.

• He recognises his name and may be able to recognise the names of familiar objects like bottle, teddy, nappy etc.

• Your talking baby uses body language to express what he wants, as he is not able to make you understand him. For example, he may grab your hand and pull you over towards the toy box if he wants you to open it so that he can play with the toys. It’s a good idea if you put his request into words e.g. ‘Open the toy box?’ and point.
