PASTA DIET
Pasta is a good source of carbohydrate and adding tiny pasta shapes to your baby's purees is a good way of introducing a little texture to his food to encourage him to chew. You can buy tiny pasta shapes or chop up spaghetti, cook until soft and mix with vegetables, chicken or meat. Couscous is a form of pasta; it is quick to cook and makes a good food for babies mixed with diced chicken or vegetables. Pasta tends to be a great favourite with babies and young children.
RICE
Flaked rice is available in most supermarkets, it is quick to cook and has a softer texture than normal rice and combines well with fruit and vegetables. Risottos also make good baby food.
