CHICKEN
Chicken provides an excellent source of protein and is rich in B vitamins. It is generally popular with babies because of its mild taste. It combines well with root vegetables and fruits like apple, grapes or papaya. Chicken also goes well with rice or couscous.

PULSES & BEANS
From 7 months your baby's diet is able to digest pulses and beans and they are a good source of protein and iron and are especially valuable for vegetarian babies. They are good combined with root vegetables. Tofu is also a good source of protein for vegetarian babies and soft tofu can be mixed with fruit or vegetables.
